STYLE ICONS OF THE PAST

Posted on

Grace Kelly Audrey Hepburn Sophia Loren Brigitte Bardot

This week we reflect on our favorite style icons who have influenced us here at Conf3ss.

They have influenced and inspired fashion for decades with their signature styles. We share their beauty secrets with you.

Grace Kelly

Even before she became a real-life princess, Grace was known for her ladylike ‘50s look, which consisted of pearls, ladylike coats, and feminine dresses that are timeless even today. She is remembered as one of the most flawlessly elegant She knew what worked best for her and stayed true to designers and labels.

Audrey Hepburn

“Elegance is the only beauty that never fades” Audrey Hepburn.

Timeless fashion with signature looks is what we best remember this remarkable woman for, the little black dress, naturally feminine dresses and ballerina flats

Sophia Loren

Vaa-Vaa-Vaa-Voom Sophia! We would love to all sit around you and listen intently to the tales you could share. Sophia Loren made cat eye line her own sexy look. With her goddess curves and confident energy she commands attention, yet knows how to stay true to the art of simplicity.

Brigitte Bardot

Legendary actress Brigitte Bardot led fashion revolutions throughout her career. Her iconic style often vanguard fashions she wore, making headlines wherever she went.Brigitte Bardot’s fashion legacy endures the fiery sex symbol of the groovy and liberated 1960s to a passionate animal activist “I gave my beauty and my youth to men. I am going to give my wisdom and experience to animals.BB From her tailored cut trousers to gingham fabrics and gypsy dresses, kohl eyeliner and tousled hair.

Although these women are from many decades ago their classic style is still very current. We are sure they would have loved a classic pair of Conf3ss shoes.

I wonder which pair they would have chosen. This is what we think

Grace Kelly: We dedicate our most sophisticated shoe to the princess, our mid wedge shoe in black with the eternally beautifully, black diamond straps.

Audrey Hepburn: Audrey would have definately worn flats so we have chosen the flat black shoe with woven black and vanilla straps.

Sophia Lauren: Of course Sophia would have worn our High heel stiletto in natural beige with power red straps to match her lipstick.

.

Bridgette Bardot: If she was around today we think Bridgette would have worn the platform high wedge in beige with Oh Baby and perfect pink straps.
